1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
3 egg yolks
1 1/2 cups milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 T. butter
4 bananas
3 T. lemon juice
2 cups strawberries
1/3 cup strawberry jam

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan, combine sugar and flour, beat in egg yolks one at a time. Gradually whisk in the milk. Add vanilla. Bring mixture to almost boil over med heat, whisking. Reduce heat to low, and simmer, continue stirring until custard is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, (2-3 min). Remove from heat, stir in the butter and set aside to cool.

Cut banana into slices and toss them with the lemon juice, half the strawberries and toss them with the bananas. In a small pan, melt the jam over low heat, let cool slightly, then combine with the fruit. Spread custard in cooled pie shell. Top with fruit.
