6 Cucumbers or as many as you wish, peeled and thinly sliced.
1 Onion, thinly sliced
2 Cup Sugar
1 Cup White Vinegar
1 Cup Water
1 Tsp Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, vinegar (water, if using), salt, and pepper together. Stir well.
Stir the mixture again before adding cucumbers and onions.
Best if made the day before.
Can half or fourth the sauce mixture if you don't have too many cucumbers.
I don't always add water. Before serving, I look at it and taste it and go from there. There is a lot of water in cucumbers.
