1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 carrot, grated
1 celery stalk, finely chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp sea salt or to taste
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
1-28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 cups chicken broth
1 cup plus more if needed, water for cooking pasta
2 cups macaroni, or mall pasta
1/4 cup parmesan cheese

Brown meat in the oil. Add the grated carrots, onions, celery and garlic. Cook until vegetables are tender. Add the spices and seasoning. Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste and cook another 5 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. Add the uncooked pasta along with the chicken broth and 1 cup water. Watch the mixture and add water if needed until pasta is cooked, about 20 minutes. Stir in parmesan cheese and serve. Can serve with extra parmesan cheese.
