1 pkg Old Dutch Puff Corn
1 stick butter (½ c.)
1 c. brown sugar
½ tsp. salt
¼ c. corn syrup
¼ tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:

  • Heat oven to 350º

  • Mix together butter, brown sugar, salt, and corn syrup

  • Stir until boiling

  • Cook 5 minutes without stirring

  • Remove from heat and stir in baking soda and vanilla

  • Pour sugar mixture over corn and stir to coat

  • Pour corn mixture on to 9 x 13 pan

  • Bake 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes

  • Let cool on wax paper

  • When cool, break apart

All the Abbotts like popcorn, so I've added this. It was a favorite will all my bridge groups in several states :) Note: you can use regular popcorn if you can't find Old Dutch Puff Corn
