1 or 2 Lbs of Shrimp deveined and peeled with just tails left on
1 cup all purpose flour
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp pepper
5 eggs beaten
3-4 cups panko bread crumbs ( i usually get two cans)
Peanut oil
Cocktail suace

Add bread crumbs to a bowl
Add flour in another bowl along with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix well. set aside
Beat eggs in a third bowl ( you may add a little bit of milk but don’t have too. I do )
Dip each thawed shrimp into the flour first. Then into egg mixture. Then roll shrimp in breadcrumbs to coat. Place each breaded shrimp on a platter. Repeat until all shrimp are coated
Heat oil to 350 degrees F
Add 6-8 shrimp to oil at a time. Cook till golden brown 2-4 minutes drain on paper towels.
Serve immediately
Make sure oil is at a temperature of 350 degrees F . do not get oil over 400 degrees. use a thermometer for oil after adding shrimp to oil temperature will drop but come back up.

This was my first recipe trying deep fried shrimp It was really good i did add a bit more garlic powder then recipe called for
