2 cups cooked wild rice (˝ cup uncooked)
1 large onion
˝ pound fresh mushrooms
˝ cup butter
˝ cup flour
8 cups chicken broth
Salt & pepper
1 cup light cream
1–2 tablespoons dry white wine

Directions:
Directions:
1. Sauté the onion and mushrooms in butter. Add the flour and cook until smooth.
2. Gradually stir in the chicken broth, cooking until the mixture thickens.
3. Add the cooked wild rice.
4. Stir in the cream and wine last.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
