8 cortland apples
3/4 cup flour
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinamon
1/2 tsp ginger
3/4 cup margarine, softened
3/4 cup rolled oats

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 8x8 pan.

Peel, core and slice apples. Place in pan. Mix flour, sugar, cinamon and ginger. Mix in margarine until coarse crumbs form. Stir in oats. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake for 35 minutes until apples are tender and crumbs are crisp.

Recipe can be doubled for a 9x13 pan.
