2 lbs chicken wings, tips removed
2 Tbsp butter, melted
2 Tbsp oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp kosher salt
3/4 tsp pepper

For the Glaze:
2 Tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 - 2 habanero chili peppers, minced
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
3/4 tsp pepper

For the Glaze:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Stir in the garlic and habaneros and sauté until the garlic is light brown and fragrant.
Slowly mix in the vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 - 25 minutes, until thickened.

For the Wings:
Combine the butter, oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the mixture over the wings and gently mix by hand to coat.
Arrange the wings over a lightly greased rimmed baking sheet and bake at 400º for 45 - 55 minutes.
Remove the wings to a large bowl and toss with the glaze.
