2 1/2 c. ground cherries
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 T. flour
2 T. water
1 pie shell (unbaked)
3 T. flour
3 T. sugar
2 T. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º
Wash ground cherries and place in unbaked pie shell. Mix brown sugar and 1 T. flour and sprinkle over the cherries. Sprinkle water over the top.
Mix together 3 T. flour and 3 T. sugar. Cut in butter until crumbly. Top cherry mixture with the crumbs.
Bake for 15 minutes. REDUCE oven temperature to 375º and continue to bake for another 25 minutes.
