Sauce:
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 large Onion, chopped
4 cloves Garlic, minced
1 (28 oz) can Tomato Purée
1 (28 oz) can Tomato Sauce
2 ½ tsp Parsley
½ tsp Basil
Water from rinsing tomato cans
2 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Sugar

Meatballs:
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Egg
1 tsp Parsley
1 clove Garlic, minced
½ cup Italian Bread Crumbs, divided
½ cup grated Romano Cheese
¼ cup Milk
¼ tsp Salt
¼ tsp Garlic Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Sauce: Saute onion and garlic in oil over medium low heat until onion is tender. Add tomato sauce, tomato purée, parsley, basil, water, salt and sugar. Stir and lower heat to a slow simmer. This is best if it is left to simmer for at least 2 hours.

Meatballs: Preheat oven to 350º. Combine ¼ cup of bread crumbs with milk and let soak for 10 minutes. Combine with all remaining ingredients and shape into balls. Cook for 30 minutes and then add to sauce. If you want to cook them the whole way in the oven, cook for 40 - 45 minutes depending on size.

Serve with cooked spaghetti noodles.
