2 pounds of ground beef
1 diced onion
1 can of mushrooms (can also use fresh)
2 cups of crushed soda crackers
2 cups of milk
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of water (using the soup can for measurement)
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Mix meat, crumbs, milk, onion, and spices. Pat into a square cake pan and let it sit overnight.
2. When you are ready, cut into squares. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
3. Coat with flour and brown in butter.
4. Transfer to a baking dish and cover with a mixture of soup, water, and mushrooms.
5. Bake for 90 minutes.
