1 1/3 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 package German chocolate cake mix
1 package cream cheese (8 ounces) softened
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup confectioner's sugar

Spread coconut and pecans in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Prepare cake mix according to package directions and pour over pecans and coconut.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter. Add egg and sugar and beat until smooth. Carefully drop spoonfulls over the batter and spread, leaving 1 inch around edge of pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes. Invert on serving tray.
