Butter Cake mix
#2 can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
1/2 stick butter
vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
Prepare Butter Cake mix according to directions.
Save 2/3 cup batter.
Bake butter cake in sheet pan.
Add pineapple to reserved batter and one cup sugar and 1/2 stick butter.
Cook slowly until clear and thickened. Add vanilla.
Spread over cake as soon a it is taken from oven.
