10 c flour
¼ c sugar
1 c raisins
½ c chopped apples(optional)
5 eggs
1 cup warm water
3 pkg yeast (2¼ tsp per pkg)
1 tsp salt
1 quart milk

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk and let cool. Soften yeast in warm water, Beat eggs in large bowl and add other ingredients. May add more or less flour until dough of correct consistency to drop off if tablespoon.

Cover and let rise for about 1 hour. Drop by tablespoons in hot oil 350º in deep pan. It works best to use a thermometer and keep the temperature even.

These amounts are estimates since I go by the feel of the dough. don't be afraid to experiment with amounts till you get your desired results.
