20 ounce package of ready to bake refrigerated sugar cookies

¼ cup raspberry jam or jelly

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Slice dough into 24 - 1/8” slices. Refrigerate remaining dough.

Place slices 2 inches apart on nonstick cookie sheets. Spread each slice with 1/2 teaspoon of jam to within 1/4 inch of edge. Set aside.

Slice remaining dough into 24 - 1/4” slices. Cut 1” star shape out of center of each cookie slice. Place cookie slices on jam-topped slices, pressing edges slightly.

Bake for 10-14 minutes or until edges are light golden brown.

Cool 5 minutes; remove to cooling rack allowing to cool completely.

*To bake remaining stars from center of cookies; place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 for 4-6 minutes.
