2 cups leafy greens (spinach or basil)
3 Tbps nuts (pine nuts or walnuts)
3 cloves of garlic
2 Tbps of lemon juice
3-4 Tbps of nutritional yeast (or veg. parmesan cheese)
¼ tsp of salt
2-3 Tbps of olive oil
3-6 Tbps of water (as needed)

Directions:

1. Combine greens, nuts, garlic, lemon juice, nutritional yeast (or cheese), and salt in a food processor. Mix on high until a loose paste forms.

2. Add olive oil a little at a time. Then add 1 Tbsp of water until desired consistency is reached. You're looking for either a spreadable or pourable consistency.

3. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed. Nutritional yeast and cheese will add a more cheesy flavor, nuts will give more nuttiness, garlic will give more of a bite, and lemon juice will add more acidity.

Keeps for a week.

To freeze, pour into ice trays, freezing for a month or more.
