1/4 c crisco shortening     
1/4 c butter
1/2 c sugar       
1/2 c brown sugar, packed
1 egg              
1 T water
1 t vanilla        
1 c flour
1 c oatmeal   
1 t baking soda
1/2 t salt       
1/2 c dried cranberries
1/2 c toffee bits   
1/2 c walnuts, chopped smaller
1- c chocolate chips, added at end, to each cookie ( optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat 350 degrees oven. Cream shortening, butter and sugars.  Add egg, water and vanilla, mix well.  Gradually add flour, oats, soda and salt. Mix well. Fold in cranberries, nuts and toffee. Put on cookie sheet. If adding chocolate chips, add 3 -4 chips to each cookie.Bake 8-10 minutes or until brown.
