1 c. whole almonds
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
⅛ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
¼ c. butter, melted
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Toast almonds in oven, chop.

Mix dry ingredients. Add all wet ingredients. Add nuts. Dough will be very thick and crumbly.

Form 2-3 logs on cookie sheet. (It will be less sticky if you run your hands under cold water.) The dough will fit on 1 large cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.

Cut logs with metal spatula while warm. Flip cookies, and toast each side for 5 minutes per side.

Do Not Double Recipe!
