1¼ c flour
1 t vanilla
½ c sugar
⅛ t baking soda
½ c butter or marg.
1 c chopped walnuts
2 eggs
1 c raisins
½ c packed brown sugar
½ c flaked coconut (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Lightly grease an 8-inch square pan. Combine flour and sugar. Using a pastry blender or fork, cut in butter until the mixture resembles a fine meal. Press into greased pan. Bake for 20 min. or just until edges are lightly golden. Meanwhile, combine eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla; beat well. Stir in baking soda, walnuts, raisins, and coconut. Spoon over hot crust; spread to cover evenly. Return to oven; bake an additional 20-25 min. or until the tip is set. Cool completely. Cut into 20 bars
