2 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter or margarine
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Melt chocolate and butter together, then blend in sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.

Pour into 8-inch square pan sprayed with Pam or similar product. Bake 20 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

Optional: sprinkle with powdered sugar or add frosting.
