1 chocolate cake mix
½ C. chocolate syrup
1 package instant chocolate fudge flavor pudding mix (3.9 oz.)
1¾ C. milk
1 C. crushed chocolate graham crackers or other chocolate cookies
7 candy worms (Gummi worms)

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350º.

2. Prepare cake mix as directed on package for a 9"x13" cake pan and bake.

3. While cake is still hot from the oven, poke holes over entire surface using a bamboo skewer or long tined fork. Pour chocolate syrup evenly over cake and let cool.

4. In small bowl, beat pudding mix and milk for 2 min., then lit it sit for 3 to 5 min. until set. Smooth evenly over cake.

5. Sprinkle crushed graham crackers over pudding and scatter worms on top, pushing one end gently into cookie mixture and covering lightly with cookie crumbs, so it appears to be poking out of the ground.

6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

When Chance was a kid he played with bugs and worms. I had been teasing him about eating worms. So I got the idea of making him a worm cake and he loved it.
