Unbaked pie shell, 9 inch
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 c brown sugar
3/4 c granulated sugar
4 eggs well beaten
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 c corn syrup- light
1/2 c heavy cream
1 1/2 c walnut meats, chopped
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
In top of large double boiler combine butter or margarine with both sugars; cream until fluffy. Stir in eggs, salt, corn sirup and cream. Place over boiling water, cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly; add walnut meats and vanilla. Pour into pastry- lined pie pan; bake in moderate oven (350) for 1 hour; cool. Top with a ring of whipped cream studded with walnut halves.
