1 LB pecan halves
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 cup sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp vanilla


Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites with a dash of salt until frothy. Gradually add sugar and vanilla, continue to beat until whites form stiff peaks.
Gently fold in nuts and cinnamon. Place melted butter in a large mixing bowl and stir nuts into butter coating them. Transfer nuts to baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place in oven and bake for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes Remove from oven and let cool completely.
