5 large Granny Smith or Pippin apples
1 can Seneca apple juice concentrate, thawed (do not substitute brand)
4 tbsp. cornstartch
1 tsp cinnamon
Dash of nutmeg
Top and bottom crust for a 10 inch pie pan. (I, Denise, use frozen pie crust. For top layer, allow to thaw and place on top of pie before baking)

Peel, core and slice apples
Combine undiluted apple juice, cornstartch, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large pot and bring to a boil, stirring contantly until thick
Add apples and cook until apples are tender

Allow to cool a little, about 5 minutes
Pour into bottom pie crust and then top with other pie crust and flute edges

Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes or until crust is golden and the filling is bubbly
