Potato Bread Recipe

2 c milk
1 c mashed potatoes mixed with enough water to make 2 cups
4 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
5 tbsp. butter
2 packets of instant yeast
10-12 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk with sugar, salt, butter and cool to lukewarm.

Add potato water.

add 4 c flour and yeast. Mix together and let proof for 15 minutes.

Continue adding flour till a soft dough is achieved. Knead an additional 5 minutes.

Place dough into a greased bowl and allow to rise till doubled. Punch down and divide into 4 shaped loaves.

Put into well greased pans and allow to rise again till double.

Bake 350º for 30-45 minutes, or till temperature reaches 190-200º.

Cool on wire racks.
