Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 Betty Crocker Angel Food Cake mix
1, 8 oz block cream cheese softened
1 1/8 cup Eagle Brand Condensed Milk
1/8 cup lemon juice
2 teaspoons almond flavoring
2 cups whipping cream
2 cups fresh strawberries chopped
1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds (or as much as you like)

Directions:
Directions:
Bake cake according to package directions. Angel food cakes need to be cooled in the pan upside down. A regular glass Coke bottle full of water or Coke, to give it weight, or something similar, is great for this as the center of the tube cake pan will fit over the top of the coke bottle and hold it up side down while cooling.

Blend condensed milk with lemon juice and almond flavoring. Chill for 10 mins. Whip Cream until it will hold peaks. Fold into chilled mixture. Take out about 1 1/2 cups and reserve for swirling on top. Fold fresh strawberries into the remaining filling mixture. Cut off the top of the cooled Angel Food cake, about 1 inch thick. Cut it so it is one piece...a large donut shape that will be a lid for the cake. Gently hollow out the cake leaving 1 inch sides and bottom. Break the hollowed out cake into pieces and fold into filling mixture. Put the filling into the hollowed out cake and put the top on it. Cover with reserved cream mix and top with berry halves and toasted almonds.

Personal Notes:
From Le'Sann: This is so delicious it will make you think you have died and gone to heaven. If there aren't going to be enough people to eat the whole thing at one or two sittings I would leave the fresh berries out of the filling and off the top and serve them on top of each slice of cake as it is eaten.

When I've been in a hurry for a dessert I have bought a Angel Food Cake from the bakery and did the same thing..I have also tore or cut the Angel Food cake into cubes and did layers of cake, filling, fruit and whipped cream in a Trifle Bowl..
