4 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Sift together and stir in:
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt

2 cups walnuts or pecans
4 cups finely chopped dates

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs until foamy. Beat in sugar and vanilla.

Sift together and stir in flour, baking powder, salt.

Mix in walnuts and dates.

Spread in ungreased 13x9 inch pan. Bake until top is dark or has a dull top. Approximately 25-30 minutes. Cut into squares while still warm. Temperature 300 if using a dark pan.

Cool and remove from pan. Dip in confectioner's sugar.
