1 cup rice
1 can chicken broth (or beef broth)
1 can water
1/2 cube butter

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet. Let butter turn light brown in color. Add rice and saute until rice just begins to brown. Add broth and water. Turn to low heat and let simmer for approximately 30-45 minutes.

Rice is done when all liquid is absorbed.

For added flavor add sautéed mushrooms, sliced water chestnuts, chopped celery or onions.
