3 tsp. active dry yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1/2 c. warm milk
1 egg
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. green food coloring
2 to 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 egg white, lightly beaten
1/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. sliced almonds
Marinara, pizza, or spaghetti sauce for dipping
Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water. Add milk, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, butter, sugar, salt, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, food coloring and 1 c. flour. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in enough of the remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Place on greased or buttered cookie sheet and bake at 350º until lightly browned.
