2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
1 Tbsp. white sugar
2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
2 tsp. soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oil in a wok or a large skillet over med-high heat. Stir in the garlic, and cook until the edges begin to brown, about 20 seconds. Add the green beans, cook and stir until the green beans begin to soften, about 5 minutes. Stir in the sugar, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Continue cooking and stirring for several minutes until the beans have obtained the desired degree of tenderness.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I like to blanch my beans in boiling water for a couple of minutes and then place them in ice water to keep the nice green color, and because this makes the cooking time in the skillet much less. You can do this head of time so when preparing for company this dish can be completed quicker.
