2 cans pork and beans (16 oz.)
1/4 cup barbecue sauce
1/2 cup root beer (not diet)
1 small onion, diced
3 bacon slices
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. hot sauce

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400

- Cook bacon until crisp, remove and dry on paper towel, reserving 2 tbsp. drippings in skillet. In same skillet, saute diced onion in hot bacon drippings over high heat for 5 minutes or until tender.

- Stir together onion, crumbled bacon, beans, and remaining ingredients. Pour into a lightly greased 1-quart baking dish, and bake for 55 minutes or until sauce is thickened.
