3/4 c cocoa
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c boiling water
1 pkg (16 oz) angel cake mix
1 c water

Directions:
Set oven to 350º. In large mixing bowl, put cocoa & sugar in and slowly add 1/2 c boiling water. Whisking all until well mixed. Add remaining 1 c water and beat. Then add dry mix & beat as package directs. Pour into tube pan, bake as directed. ( it sometimes takes 3 - 5 minutes longer to bake to have 'dry cracks'). Turn upside down to cool ( I use an old wine bottle to rest it on)

This dessert was a contribution that our Jericho neighbor, Josy Moore, brought to a dinner when we were living in the Milton house in 2011. It was a cold, snowy night and this was a light delicious treat. Perfect with a hot cup of fresh brewed coffee.
