1 cup water (250 ml/8 oz)
½ inch (1 cm) piece of fresh root ginger, thinly sliced
juice of 1/4 lemon

Directions:
Directions:
1. Boil the water.
2. Place the ginger slices in a mug and pour in the water. Add the lemon juice.
3. Allow to steep for 3–5 minutes, depending on the strength of flavor desired.
Strain if you like, and drink.

Note: Grammy would say to strain this before drinking so you don't damage the enamel on your teeth!
