Wash beans. Remove ends and break beans into pieces. Put a cup of boiling water in jar; add green beans, packing beans down. Add enough boiling water to completely cover beans. Wipe rims of jars and seal with lids and rings. Place canner on medium-high heat with steam vent open until steam/air escapes in a steady stream. Close vent. Reduce heat if necessary to maintain 10 lbs. pressure for 25 minutes. Timing should begin when gauge register 10 lbs. pressure. Remove from heat. Allow gauge to return to zero before opening canner. Then open vent to allow steam to escape. Remove jars from canner to cool.
