3 1/2 cups purple plums
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup cider vinegar
1 cup golden raisins
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup chopped onions
1 clove garlic minced
2 tsp. mustard seeds
3 T. chopped crystallized ginger
3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugars and vinegar in a large sauce pan. Bring to a boil stirring until sugars are dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cook gently for 45 to 50 minutes. Stir often to keep chutney from scorching. Pour into hot sterilized jar and seal. Allow at least a month to season before opening.
