Berry Bread Pudding Recipe

Sauce
3 T. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. whipping cream
4 T Brandy or substitute Blackberry of any flavor Brandy

Bread Pudding
3 T. butter
3 eggs
2 T. vanilla
3 1/2 c. milk or half & half
8 c. of sour dough or French bread cut into cubes crust is o.k.
1 basket of blueberries
1 basket of raspberries
4 T. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
Cool Whip

Directions:
Sauce: Melt butter and 1 1/2 c. sugar. Stir in whipping cream and brandy. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to Low - 5 to 10 minutes. Then set aside.

Pudding: In mixing bowl, combine butter and sugar. Add eggs, vanilla and beat again. Slowly stir in milk.

Place bread in a large bowl and pour above mixture over bread and let sit for 4-5 minutes or overnight. Carefully stir in berries and place into 13 x 9 inch pan (prefer glass). Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top and pour 1/3 c. of sauce on top. Save the rest of sauce for serving.

Bake @ 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Serve warm with sauce dribbled over the slice and place a dab of Cool Whip on top.
