5 lbs bone-in beef short ribs
1 bottle beer
1 cup bbq sauce
1 can beef consomme
1 can french onion soup
2 onions sliced

Rice - cooked according to package

Directions:
Directions:
Season and brown short ribs in olive oil in batches.
Pleace onions on bottom of crockpot or dutch oven. Add short ribs and all other ingredients.

Crockpot: Cook on high for 4-5 hours, or low for 7-9 hours.
Dutch oven: Cook at 350º tightly covered for 3-4 hours

Reduce sauce if needed.

Serve over sticky rice with side salad.
