1 c. celery
2 c. bread crumbs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 boiled eggs sliced
salt and pepper

Directions:

Cook chicken and remove it from the bone.
Chop the chicken.

Mix 1 c. milk and 3 T.flour to make a thickening. Thicken 1 qt. of broth and add 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or substitute cream of chicken soup for the broth).

Spread toasted crumbs on the bottom of a baking dish. Cover with chicken, layer of eggs, layer of celery, mushroom soup and thickened broth and pour over the top of the casserole. Dot with butter and bake.
