1/2 cup butter,softened
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 cup blanched hazelnuts
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
melted vanilla chips to garnish

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine butter and sugar and beat together until light and fluffy. Add cocoa powder and baking powder and beat well. Then add eggs one at a time, beating well after every addition. Finally, mix all-purpose flour and chopped hazelnuts. Preheat oven to 375F and line baking sheet with baking paper. Form dough into a loaf shape, about 12in long by 3 1/2in wide, on cookie sheet. Place in oven for 25 minutes. Remove baked biscotti from oven and let cool for 5 minutes, and reduce oven temperature to 325F. Once cooled, transfer to a cutting board and slice into 1/2in wide diagonal slices. Place slices on cookie sheet and return to oven to bake for 9 minutes. Remove cookie sheet, turn over biscotti slices, and return to oven to bake for another 9 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove cookie sheet form oven and let cool completely. Transfer cooled biscotti to serving plate and drizzle with melted vanilla chips.
