1 cup corn meal
1/2 box Jiffy Cornbread mix
1/2 cup flour
1 egg
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 small can cream style corn
1 lb. ground meat (season to taste, salt and pepper)
1 small chopped onion
1 lb. grated cheddar cheese
Chopped jalapeños to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine first 8 ingredients and set aside. Brown ground meat with chopped onion and drain, add grated cheese and chopped jalapeños to meat mixture. In a greased 9 by 13 dish spread half of the cornbread mixture, then all of the meat mixture, and top with the last half of the cornbread mixture. Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until firm.
