5 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1 can (8 ounces) cocoa
1 tsp. salt

Oven: 350° ~ Yield: 5 batches
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.To prepare basic brownies, combine 2 cups brownie mix, 1/2 c. butter, 2 lightly beaten eggs, 1 T. water and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir in 3/4 c. nuts, if desired. Pour into a greased (8-inch) square baking dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until tests done. Cool on a wire rack.
