1 cup of butter softened
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
2 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups of flaked coconut
1 package of milk chocolate chips
3/4 cup of finely chopped almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Beat in eggs and extracts. Combine the flours, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in coconut, chocolate chips and almonds.

Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 in. apart on cookie sheet. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes or until lightly brown. Cool for 1 minute on cookie sheet before removing onto wire rack. Makes about 4 dozen cookies
