1 lb ground pork
1-1/2 lb fresh broccoli
3 tbsp peanut oil
1-1/2 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp salt
3/4 c. chicken broth
3/4 c water
Marinade
1 tsp rice wine or dry sherry
3 tbsp sesame oil
3 tsp cornstarch
2 tsp ground ginger
3 tbsp reduced siduyn sit sauce

Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add ground pork and mix well. Let stand at least 15 minutes.Cut flowerets from broccoli stems and separate into 2 bowls. Slice stems into 2"x1/4" pieces.

Heat oil in wok over medium heat . Add minced garlic and stir-fry until golden brown. Add marinaded pork and stir-fry until brown. remove with slotted spoon, leaving oil in wok. Add more oil to make about 1/4 c. Turn heat up to high, add salt and broccoli stems, stir-fry 1-2 min., then add flowerets and stir-fry 1-2 minutes longer. Broccoli should be crisp and deep green. Add water and chicken broth. Reduce heat to medium and cover. Simmer until water is almost all absorbed.
Add cooked ground prok and stir-fry with broccoli for about 30 sec. longer. Serve hot with cooked rice.
