"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Mix the Jello in a large bowl as directed, Add the crushed pineapple, marshmallows and the cut up bananas. I usually cut the bananas into quarters and slice them. Set this mixture aside to cool. Topping: Mix together and bring to a boil 1 beaten egg, sugar, oleo and the juice from the pineapple. Remove from stove and stir in 3 oz cream cheese until smooth. Cool this mixture. Next mix 1 sm box of Dream Whip as directed on the box eliminating the vanilla. Fold the topping mix into the Dream whip and pour over the Jello. Chill until set.

This recipe of Carol Gingrich's mother recipe is fabulous and one of our favorites. I always double the recipe and sometimes more if I'm taking to an event. Make sure your bowl is deep as the layers do add up. I like to put it in a trifle bowl as it looks very pretty.
