3 tbsp butter
1 med onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 med zucchini, sliced ¼in thick (do not peel)
¼ tsp marjoram
salt & pepper to taste
2 tbsp butter
¾ c soft breadcrumbs
2 c sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onion & garlic in 3 tbsp butter short time, add zucchini & cook, covered until crisp tender. Add marjoram, S & P. Remove from heat. Melt 2 tbsp butter & add breadcrumbs, stir to absorb butter. In greased casserole, layer zucchini, buttered crumbs and cheese, repeat 2–3 times. Bake uncovered at 350º for 30 min.
