2 cans sliced carrots
1 large Spanish onion, sliced thinly
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 (10 oz) can tomato soup
1 c sugar
1/2 c oil
3/4 c cider vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp dill weed * (OR Mustard to taste, Mom had 2 versions of this recipe)

*Variation
Substitute 1 Tbsp mustard for the dill weed
Add worcestershire sauce

Combine vegetables. Mix the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Pour over vegetables. Chill.
