1 c butter (2 sticks)
4 Tbsp shortening
2 eggs
2 c Masa Harina (corn tortilla mix)
3/4 c cold water
1 32 oz pkg frozen corn kernels, thawed and chopped
1 c sugar
3/4 c cornmeal
1/2 c whipping cream (can sub milk)
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt

Directions:

Grease a 9x12 pan. Preheat oven to 350º. Beat butter and shortening until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in masa harina, then water. Stir in remaining ingredients. Put in pan, cover with foil, and bake until firm to the touch, about 50 minutes. If not done uncover and cook 10-15 minutes more. Let stand 15 minutes. Cut into small squares and serve warm.
