As many pears as you want
Ratio: 2:1 pears to sugar

Directions:
Peel pears. Use same measuring unit for pears as sugar. Let cook until as thick as you want. I usually let mine cook until they are the color I want them to be - usually dark. Put in jars and seal. (Do not use any
aluminum pots or pans for cooking the pears.)
