1 tsp soda
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups melted butter
1 jar Mrs. Richardson's caramel sauce
12 oz milk chocolate chips.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first 5 ingredients together and then add the melted butter. Mix well and pat half into the bottom of a 9x13 greased pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 17 minutes. Remove from oven and pour the caramel sauce over the top. Then scatter the chocolate chips evenly over the sauce. Crumble the remaining half of the oatmeal mixture over the top and bake another 17 minutes. Remove and cool at least 5 hours. (I put them in the refrigerator until set.)
