1/4 cup butter
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp. green onions, chopped
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup sherry
1/2 cup cream (half & half)
1 cup (4 oz.) grated cheddar cheese
2 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
2 cups shrimp, peeled and cooked
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted
Cooked rice for serving

Melt butter, then add mushrooms and green onions. Saute a few minutes before adding soup, sherry and cream. Gradually stir in cheese. When melted, add shrimp and chicken. Blend well, then sprinkle with almonds before serving over rice.
